About The Role The Senior Marketing Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for orchestrating marketing initiatives across multiple business units within a diverse, multi-species portfolio. This individual will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing impactful partnerships, elevating brand visibility, and executing high-impact marketing campaigns. The role demands close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales, training, logistics, and purchasing teams, to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand standards. This position is fully remote, and candidates must reside in specific states including Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of marketing experience, preferably in a multi-brand or portfolio environment within the Animal Health industry.
  • 3-4 years of direct management experience, including supervising at least one team member.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of marketing strategies, campaign development, and content creation.
  • Proficiency in interpreting data and applying insights to strategic decisions.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based systems and data entry.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with assigned business partners to expand market share and lead joint initiatives.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts tailored to the specific objectives of each species, ensuring all initiatives meet business goals and uphold brand standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, training, partnerships, management, logistics, and purchasing to ensure cohesive service delivery and brand consistency.
  • Guide creative strategies for each species by working closely with Marketing Specialists and Managers, fostering professional development and ensuring creative excellence.
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute a compelling vision for national trade shows, ensuring consistent brand representation across all species.
  • Oversee the division’s advertising strategies, identifying and supporting sales opportunities that drive revenue growth.
  • Lead innovative marketing initiatives aimed at elevating brand awareness and strengthening market positioning.
  • Supervise and provide mentorship to the Multi-Species Marketing Specialist, ensuring effective execution of marketing projects and content management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall marketing and business objectives.
