Marketing and Growth Lead (Agentic Workflows and Community Development)

We are a seed-stage biotechnology startup building a next-generation regenerative medicine platform that integrates generative AI, stem cell biology, biomaterials, and bioprinting to develop personalized therapies across urogynecological, orthopedic, and cardiac indications.
A critical part of our mission is building a trusted, engaged community of patients, advocates, and stakeholders, while developing scalable systems to convert awareness into long-term engagement and support.
The Role
We are seeking a Marketing & Growth Lead who will design and implement agentic, automated workflows for lead generation, nurturing, and conversion, while also building a strong, trust-based community presence.
This is a systems-oriented, execution-heavy role at the intersection of growth marketing, automation, and community engagement. You will not just create content, you will build repeatable, intelligent pipelines that turn attention into relationships and relationships into action.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agentic Growth Systems & Automation
Design and deploy agentic workflows for:
· Lead generation (inbound outbound)
· Lead nurturing (email, content, segmentation)
· Conversion (community → supporter → investor)
· Build automated pipelines using CRM, marketing automation, and AI tools.
· Continuously optimize funnels using data, testing, and iteration.
· Integrate tools (CRM, email, analytics, AI agents) into a cohesive system.
2. CRM & Lead Management
· Own and manage CRM infrastructure (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent).
· Segment audiences across patients, clinicians, partners, and investors.
· Track lifecycle stages and optimize conversion rates.
· Maintain clean, structured, and actionable data.
3. Content & Thought Leadership (System-Driven)
· Manage website, blog, and LinkedIn presence.
· Translate input from internal subject matter experts into:
· Educational content
· Thought leadership pieces
· Campaign assets
· Build content pipelines that directly feed growth and engagement workflows.
4. Community Building & Engagement
Develop and grow a community around:
· Mesh implant complications
· Urogynecological, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions
· Create structured engagement loops (email sequences, updates, feedback channels).
· Ensure communication is empathetic, credible, and compliant.
5. Campaigns, Crowdfunding & Emerging Financing Channels
· Plan and execute campaigns (e.g., Wefunder or similar platforms).
· Build automated investor engagement funnels (awareness → interest → commitment).
Support exploration and execution of non-traditional financing approaches, including:
· Community-driven funding models
· Tokenization concepts (where appropriate and compliant)
· Coordinate messaging, outreach, and follow-ups across channels.
Qualifications
Required
· 5 years in growth marketing, marketing operations, or demand generation
· Proven experience building automated marketing or lead generation systems
· Strong proficiency with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
· Experience integrating tools into scalable workflows (APIs, Zapier, AI tools, etc.)
· Strong content instincts and ability to translate complex ideas into accessible messaging
· Data-driven mindset with experience optimizing funnels
Preferred
· Experience in biotech, healthcare, medtech, or patient communities
· Experience with agentic or AI-driven marketing workflows
· Familiarity with crowdfunding platforms (e.g., Wefunder, Republic)
· Interest in or exposure to non-traditional financing models, including tokenization, community ownership models, or blockchain-enabled engagement
· Experience managing sensitive or regulated communications
