Manufacturing Project Manager

One of our clients based in the Bay Area is looking for a Manufacturing Project Manager who has experience in the Ophthalmology industry.

The successful candidate will execute the following responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional manufacturing projects supporting the development and commercialization of ophthalmic products in a regulated GMP environment.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinate activities between Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Engineering, and R&D teams.
• Oversee technology transfers, process improvements, scale-up activities, and validation projects for ophthalmic products.
• Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and drive issue resolution to maintain project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support uninterrupted production operations.
• Analyze manufacturing performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and key performance indicators to senior leadership.
• Support strategic manufacturing objectives and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative ophthalmology therapies.
