Manufacturing Planner – Drive Production Excellence in the Aerospace IndustryLocation: San Antonio, TX
Type: Full-Time, Consultant (9 Months)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM-2:00 PM (First Shift)
Pay Range: $41.83 – $48.90 per hourAbout the Role PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Systems and Test Engineer to support our partner, a respected leader in the aerospace industry. In this impactful role, you will help shape manufacturing strategies, streamline production processes, and ensure seamless execution on the shop floor. Your expertise will directly support successful program delivery and high?quality aircraft production.What You’ll Do You will serve as a key resource between engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities include:Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and illustrations.Define and document as?built configurations.Support mechanics by interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and planning documentation.Develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, and technologies to meet production and delivery requirements.Review and approve supplier data to verify compliance with manufacturing requirements.Develop tooling requirements and manage tools from design through disposition.Investigate and resolve manufacturing?related issues.Perform producibility assessments and provide input on designs, processes, and technologies.Develop integrated work statements and event sequencing to support delivery commitments.Draft, update, and review processes and procedures to meet business and regulatory requirements.Work under general direction while managing priorities and delivering results.Required Qualifications 5+ years of Manufacturing Planner experience5+ years of experience with CAD softwareAbility to interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings and specificationsStrong skills in analyzing and interpreting engineering dataKnowledge of manufacturing engineering processesProficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based toolsAbility to obtain customer approval for access (may be affected by dual/previous citizenship)Ability to pass an extensive background check covering finances, residence history, employment, drug use, military service, and criminal historyRegular, predictable attendanceEducation/Experience: Associate degree plus 3+ years’ relevant experience, orBachelor’s degree plus 1+ year, or5+ years of directly related experienceThis position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
