In this role, you will be responsible for supporting material requirements planning, leading material status meetings, and communicating critical supply chain needs to ensure the timely delivery of materials to support production schedules, and assisting the lab for material needs.Summary of Key Responsibilities:

Support material requirements planning, ensuring compliance with SPD000234 Material Requirements Planning
-
Lead material status meetings with product teams, including PMM, to review material availability and current shortages
-
Validate procurement delivery dates for impacts on production schedules and support procurement to update system to match real delivery dates

Issue parts from stockroom to the floor and assist with material kitting

Communicate critical supply chain issues and schedule threats to stakeholders

Prioritize items through receiving inspection to ensure timely processing and minimize delays

Create ZINV, GCFM, or similar special orders to support supply chain needs and ensure material availability

Coordinate shipments of make parts from manufacturing plant to receiving plant
-
Monitor exception message management plans for ex20’s, ex50/52’s, and PR rejections/aging PR’s, and work with buy part planners to monitor rejected PR queues and disposition rejected PRs

Consult with demand manager on any network changes and updates, and analyze associated impacts on material requirements and production schedules
Basic Qualifications

Experience in material planning, procurement, or a related field
-
Knowledge of material requirements planning, procurement, and supply chain management principles
-
Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP or similar software
-
Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance
Desired skills

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Experience in aerospace or defense industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze data and develop effective solutions

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
