Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of related PWB / PCB Manufacturing or Process control experience.
  • Experience manufacturing PWB / PCB assemblies to IPC and J-STD specifications.
  • Experience with Electronic circuit imaging processes.

Job Description You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. (PWB Manufacturing, Level 3) for the Missiles & Fire Control Manufacturing Engineering — Dallas Electrical Shop PWB team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality printed wiring boards (PWB) that enable mission‑critical missile systems.

What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for advancing manufacturing processes, work instructions, and risk‑mitigation strategies for PWB manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Develop, create, and maintain work instructions, task lists, and re‑work/repair guides for non‑conformance processing.
  • Identify production risks, devise mitigation plans, and lead validation activities for new manufacturing lines.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives from concept through closure while ensuring schedule, quality, and safety targets are met.
  • Support testing, hardware, and tooling issues; collaborate with shop‑floor personnel, management, and program leads.
  • Champion continuous‑improvement and lean practices to reduce waste, enhance affordability, and improve overall efficiency.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, including team building, collaboration, and developing enduring business relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with TrueChem software.
