Manager of Compensation
Responsibilities Kforce’s client, a well-established organization in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking a skilled Manager of Compensation focusing on corporate and sales compensation strategy. This high-impact, hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote) offers growth potential and the chance to shape compensation programs in a dynamic, people-first environment. - Lead the design and execution of core compensation programs including annual merit planning, job evaluation, market pricing, and pay structure development
- Provide strategic oversight of base salary administration and ensure competitive, equitable practices through salary surveys and benchmarking
- Design and optimize annual bonus programs that align with business priorities and performance goals
- Collaborate with People and Development to integrate pay and performance strategies
- Deliver advanced modeling and analysis for executive leadership decision-making
- Consult on sales commission plans that drive desired behaviors and support business objectives
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate compensation, incentive plan design, and sales compensation for complex business models
- Proven ability to balance corporate and sales compensation strategies
- Strong communication skills with Sales, Finance, and HR leadership
- Experience managing compensation analysts
- Familiarity with compensation management software (e.g., PayFactors or similar)
- Executive compensation experience is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
