Maintenance Manager

Seeking a Maintenance Manager for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Southbridge, MA.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k!

Salary is between $100,000 – $130,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Support hiring, training, and scheduling of maintenance staff.

• Oversee daily work, performance, and corrective actions.

• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance teams, including supervisors, mechanics, and technicians.

• Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, budgets, and maintenance records.

• Develop and track preventative/predictive maintenance programs.

• Coordinate with production to align maintenance with schedules and minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean and reliability practices.

• Manage department budget, vendor relationships, and spare parts inventory.

• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA and company policies.

• Monitor KPIs and report on equipment performance, costs, and safety.

• Remain on-call for after-hours plant issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/industrial technology or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance management.
• Strong technical knowledge of automation, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, CMMS, and interpreting technical manuals/blueprints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to inspect facilities, perform repairs, and navigate job sites.
• Capable of standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working near heat, noise, gas, and chemicals.
