We’re seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain automated cut/strip/crimp equipment. In this role, your precision and mechanical expertise ensure products meet exact specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. What You’ll Do

Machine Operation & Production

  • Set up cut/strip/crimp machines per process sheets; operate multiple machines simultaneously

  • Exchange blades, rollers, and guide tubes to match wire specifications

  • Perform advanced maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM)

  • Clean equipment before, during, and after runs to ensure optimal performance

  • Minimize scrap through efficient operation and in?process checks

  • Count, bundle, and document cut wires and lot numbers

  • Sort and remove defective parts; move between machines as scheduled

  • Support and inspect work of Level I & II operators; troubleshoot applicator/machine issues

Quality Assurance

  • Inspect products to IPC standards

  • Read and interpret customer prints, schematics, and drawings

  • Enter job and production data accurately in the ERP system

Safety & Cleanliness

  • Adhere to all safety regulations; identify and report concerns

  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and plant areas

  • Complete additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years of machine operation experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to read SOPs, safety rules, manuals, prints, and drawings

  • Solid math skills (fractions, measurements, calculations)

  • Proficiency using rulers/tape measures, calipers/micrometers, microscopes

  • Comfortable using computers and ERP systems

  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and work cooperatively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environments

  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement exposure

  • Knowledge of wire harness and connector manufacturing

  • Hands?on experience with automated equipment ( Komax, Kodera, Schluniger , etc.)

  • 4 years of machine set?up and operation experience

Physical Requirements

  • High degree of manual dexterity; repetitive work capability

  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel as required

  • Lift up to 20 lbs regularly , 50 lbs occasionally

  • Close vision, depth perception, color discernment

  • Tolerance for moderate noise levels

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
