We’re seeking a skilled Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain automated cut/strip/crimp equipment. In this role, your precision and mechanical expertise ensure products meet exact specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. What You’ll Do
Machine Operation & Production
-
Set up cut/strip/crimp machines per process sheets; operate multiple machines simultaneously

Exchange blades, rollers, and guide tubes to match wire specifications

Perform advanced maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM)
-
Clean equipment before, during, and after runs to ensure optimal performance

Minimize scrap through efficient operation and in?process checks

Count, bundle, and document cut wires and lot numbers

Sort and remove defective parts; move between machines as scheduled

Support and inspect work of Level I & II operators; troubleshoot applicator/machine issues
Quality Assurance

Inspect products to IPC standards

Read and interpret customer prints, schematics, and drawings

Enter job and production data accurately in the ERP system
Safety & Cleanliness

Adhere to all safety regulations; identify and report concerns

Maintain a clean, organized workstation and plant areas
-
Complete additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
2 years of machine operation experience
-
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
-
Ability to read SOPs, safety rules, manuals, prints, and drawings
-
Solid math skills (fractions, measurements, calculations)
-
Proficiency using rulers/tape measures, calipers/micrometers, microscopes
-
Comfortable using computers and ERP systems
-
Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and work cooperatively
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 environments
-
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement exposure

Knowledge of wire harness and connector manufacturing
-
Hands?on experience with automated equipment ( Komax, Kodera, Schluniger , etc.)

4 years of machine set?up and operation experience
Physical Requirements

High degree of manual dexterity; repetitive work capability

Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel as required

Lift up to 20 lbs regularly , 50 lbs occasionally

Close vision, depth perception, color discernment

Tolerance for moderate noise levels

Pay Details: $22.50 per hour
