Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality coatings and paints, is seeking a Logistics Operator – 5 to join their team. As a Logistics Operator – 5, you will be part of the Production Support team supporting the manufacturing and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Operator – 5

Location: High Point, NC

Pay Range: $20-$21.00

Shift: 2nd shift 2pm to 10:30pm

What’s the Job?

• Maintain storage of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods, ensuring proper inventory levels and organization.

• Operate and inspect forklifts daily, adhering to safety standards and completing inspection forms accurately.

• Assist batch makers by obtaining necessary materials from storage areas and ensuring timely delivery to production lines.

• Clean and maintain production equipment, including tanks, valves, filters, and pumps, following safety and cleanliness protocols.

• Support overall production activities by moving materials, staging finished goods, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

What’s Needed?

• High School Diploma

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and obtain certification if required.

• Effective measurement and weighing skills for accurate inventory management.

• Physical ability to lift containers up to 75 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
