Role : Linux Systems Engineer (SRE / Infrastructure)
Location: New York , NY – onsite 5 days
Duration: 6 monthsTechnical Experience Requirements:

  • Candidate should be willing to work all 5 days from office in NYC.
  • Must Have 7 years in RedHat Linux.
  • Must have Minimum 8 yrs of relevant experience in enterprise infrastructure environment
  • Strong in Linux Administration — OnPrem. Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level infrastructure solutions across Linux environments
  • Awareness on IP, DNS, DHCP, Ports, Authentications, Authorizations & Privileges, Router, Switches & Firewall operations. Understanding of network segmentation.
  • Troubleshoot overall infrastructure, Applications, IoT Systems & network infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across infrastructure and applications.

Technology Stack:

  • Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux

  • Networking & Security: TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, IoT security frameworks

  • Databases: Client SQL Server, Sybase

  • Scripting Languages: Perl/ Python/ PowerShell (Anyone)

  • Tools & Platforms: Client & CI/CD pipelines.

  • Tools: Putty, SSH, Wireshark, Nagios, Splunk & Grafana

  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
