Legal Assistant/Paralegal
McBride Homes has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant/Project Coordinator/Paralegal to join our team. This individual will provide support to the In-House Legal Department, with a focus on all land acquisition processes, along with entity formation and general corporate duties. This position is ideal for someone who is detailed-oriented, thrives in a team-focused environment, and is willing to learn and develop new skills. This is an in-office position located in our state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $90,000/yr. depending on experience and an annual, discretionary bonus program
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in-house counsel with drafting all land acquisition contracts
- Calendar and track all relevant contract deadlines and events
- Coordinate timely payment of all earnest deposits
- Order title commitments and organize all related documents for additional analysis by in-house counsel and senior paralegals review
- Prepare draft of contingency release letters and all land acquisition closing documents for review by in-house legal team
- Coordinate with title companies on all land acquisitions
- Coordinate with outside counsel on formation of new LLC/Corporations
- Assisting with municipal applications
- Creating and organizing paper and electronic files
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
