Lead Program Manager
About the Opportunity:
The organization offers a mental health benefits platform for employers, providing employees access to one-on-one, group, and self-serve digital resources addressing emotional, professional, social, financial, and physical well-being needs within a single platform. The role of Lead Program Manager is focused on owning and driving the organization’s most strategic health partnerships and cross-functional programs, with accountability for the complex work required to ensure their success.
Responsibilities:
• Own and lead a portfolio of strategic health partnership programs from scoping through implementation, launch, and ongoing optimization
• Clarify goals, define operating models, align stakeholders, and build program plans and decision-making frameworks in ambiguous, noisy environments
• Manage full program lifecycle including defining success metrics, measuring progress, identifying dependencies, risks, and issues, and overseeing budget and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Product & Tech, Clinical, Operations, Go-to-Market, Legal & Compliance, Finance, and external health partners
• Serve as subject matter expert on programs, monitor success metrics, synthesize insights, and provide updates and recommendations to executive stakeholders
• Assess launch and operational risks, drive mitigation strategies, escalate when needed, and keep teams focused on critical issues
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements to enhance program performance and scalability
• Foster a “finish the job” mindset within teams
• Improve alignment, communication, and processes between Product & Tech teams and cross-functional counterparts
• Establish, enhance, and document scalable processes
• Strengthen feedback loops between cross-functional teams
• Support data-informed roadmap development
Requirements:
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create structure in ambiguous, high-noise situations
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven track record of driving program execution end-to-end
• Experience with process improvement and scaling operations
• Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and functions
• Availability to work at least six hours overlapping with Pacific time zone business hours
• This role cannot be performed in Hawaii
