Lead Irrigation Technician – Leadership Track
About the Opportunity
This is not a typical technician role.
We are looking for a senior irrigation professional who wants to grow into field leadership. You will start as our Lead Irrigation Technician — the go-to person in the field for complex diagnostics, technician support, and process improvement. From there, the path leads directly to Operations Manager as the company grows.
If you are a skilled irrigation tech who is tired of just running calls and wants to help lead a team, this was built for you.
What You Will Do
In the Field (Phase 1 — Lead Technician)
- Perform advanced irrigation diagnostics, repairs, and system evaluations
- Mentor and support a team of four technicians
- Solve complex system problems that require deep technical knowledge
- Help drive field productivity and improve average job quality
- Identify process improvements and help implement them
As the Company Grows (Phase 2 — Operations Manager)
- Manage technician performance and daily field coordination
- Oversee hiring and training of new technicians
- Implement operational systems that reduce the owner’s involvement
- Participate in company strategy and planning
What You Will Earn
