Lead Instructional Designer
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lead Instructional Designerto lead the planning, design, and implementation of innovative learning programs. Key Responsibilities
- Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough training assessments to identify performance gaps and learner needs.
- Content Development: Design and maintain 508-compliant materials, including storyboards, video scripts, job aids, and eLearning modules.
- Digital Creation: Develop interactive, SCORM-compliant courses using industry-standard authoring tools.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Create quizzes and simulations to measure learner progress and use data to improve future training outcomes.
- Collaboration: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
Required Skills & Experience
- ERP Transition: Minimum 3 years of experience supporting large-scale ERP transitions (Workday preferred).
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Camtasia.
- LMS Expertise: Strong experience with Learning Management Systems and SCORM compliance.
- Methodologies: Deep understanding of ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick’s Level of assessments.
- Accessibility: Mastery of Section 508-compliance and accessibility best practices.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for stakeholder updates and content scriptwriting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday LMS for tracking learner progress and reporting.
- Background in gamification and multimedia creation (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design or Education.
