Large Format Printer Operator
Job Description
This position requires a reliable individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor. The ideal candidate should have strong administrative skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Please note that this is not a remote position.
++*MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE FORMAT PRINTING*++
Requirements:
- Pre-press and Large/Small format experience
- Experience running a large format department
- Program knowledge required: Onyx Thrive, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
- Have ability to preflight files sent in by clients to create and correct where necessary and or inform them of correct file requirements
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of printers
- Stock Control
- Have the ability to print onto various substrates on flatbed
- Weeding vinyl applying application tape
- Mounting and sealing prints, boards and vinyl
- Up to date training will be available for this position
Experience using the following equipment:
- HP Scitex UV Flatbed printer
- 1 OCE Colorado
- Mimaki UVJ556 -320 Grand format roll to roll
- Easy mount mounter
