Packet Broker migrationTasks and Responsibilities
Open FDR for tperson project
Audit packet broker configs and work with tperson various teams to complete tperson PEC design/review
Drive tperson layer 1 deployment based on tperson PEC/design
Work with tperson regional team to conduct Layer 1 testing/validation
Leverage internal automation tools to create a golden config for tperson packet broker
Perform hands-on configurations for tperson packet brokers using tperson golden config
Test tperson hands-on configurations using Datainsight/SevOne
Perform migration of tperson traffic
Troubleshoot any issues encountered during tperson MW
Perform post-migration KPI validations using nG1Skills
Ability to validate KPIs pre and post changes.
Advanced knowledge of both Irisview and NG1 systems along with understanding of which KPIs need to be validated for each change in tperson visibility fabric.
Extensive knowledge of VZ 4G and 5G network call flow.
Extensive knowledge of traffic migrations for all monitored interfaces.
Wireless network element interface understanding for both PNFs and VNFs.
Configuration and architecture expertise for both Extreme Networks and Keysight.
Ability to translate Extreme running configuration into a Keysight configuration.
Project management skills, coordinating Jara tickets, front door request, PEC creation, network element failovers, Verizon Transport deployments, inventory management, managing Extreme Core RE work, Extreme Market RE work, and Keysight RE work.
Wireless Network Visibility infrastructure troubleshooting and Automation.Required Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
10 – 15 years of hands-on experience as a network Engineer
