Our services include construction management, fabrication, erection, mechanical installation, and plant maintenance for heavy industrial, commercial, and roadway projects, as well as a full spectrum of golf course construction and management services.IT Support Technician Position SummaryThis role is responsible for providing technical support to end users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.IT Support Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and guided questioning.
  • Resolve basic technical issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and software.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel.
  • Document issues and resolutions in the help desk system.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks such as account setup, hardware provisioning, and access revocation.
  • Maintain inventory records and assist in asset tracking and reclamation.
  • Support software installations and updates under supervision.
  • Provide guidance on IT policies and procedures to end users.
  • The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

IT Support Technician Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and common software applications.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT preferred.
  • Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with ticketing systems preferred
  • Exposure to remote desktop tools, Active Directory, and VPN preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patience and professionalism when dealing with non-technical users.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+) preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a computer or assisting staff.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate keyboards, phones, and other IT equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment such as desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, and networking hardware (typically up to 25–40 lbs).
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to install cables, connect hardware, or access equipment in tight spaces (e.g., under desks, server racks).
  • Adequate vision to read technical manuals, schematics, and computer screens.
  • Clear communication abilities (both verbal and written) to support users and document issues.
