We are looking for a seasoned Technical Manager to lead and manage a mission-critical 24×7 production support project.
- The ideal candidate must bring strong delivery management capabilities combined with hands-on technical expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata, and Oracle.
- The role requires excellent leadership, operational discipline, and a strong focus on incident and problem resolution.
- Ensure application availability and meet SLA requirements (incident response, resolution times).
- Lead daily/weekly review calls, operational dashboards, and incident status updates.
- Communicate impact analysis, timelines, and mitigation strategies for major incidents.
- Track recurring issues and drive permanent fixes.
- Identify inefficiencies in support workflows; implement improvements.
- Optimize cost without sacrificing quality of service.
- Should have experience in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and testing of various client/server applications like BI & ETL on Data Warehousing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle
- Experience with Lean or Agile development methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing and be available to work with India based offshore team. Though most of this work is related to Knowledge Transfer, project development and support related handover meetings during shift changes, Weekly/Daily Stand-up meetings, deployment activities during production deployment etc., not limited to this.

Key Responsibilities:
Project & Delivery Management
- Lead end-to-end delivery of a 24×7 support project, ensuring SLA compliance and operational stability.
- Manage distributed/onshore-offshore teams supporting production workloads.
- Oversee incidents, problems, and change management adhering to ITIL processes.
- Perform root cause analysis, trend analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Manage stakeholder communication, escalations, and periodic service reporting.
Technical Responsibilities
- Provide escalation-level expertise in:
o Informatica PowerCenter (ETL workflows, mappings, debugging, performance tuning)
o Teradata (SQL, utilities, performance improvements, data warehousing concepts)
o Oracle (PL/SQL, schema design, tuning, job failures)
- Monitor and manage batch cycles, production deployments, and job orchestration.
- Partner with infrastructure and engineering teams to improve platform stability.
Team & Process Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and coach support engineers and analysts.
- Ensure SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge artifacts are maintained and continuously improved.
- Identify automation opportunities, reduce manual effort, and improve MTTR.
- Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 12 years of overall IT experience, with significant exposure to production support environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project/Technical Manager or Service Delivery Manager.
- Demonstrated hands-on expertise in:
o Informatica PowerCenter
o Teradata SQL and utilities
o Oracle PL/SQL
- Strong experience supporting 24×7 operations and leading global teams.
- In-depth understanding of ITIL incidents, problems, and change management.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and crisis-handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL v4, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with job schedulers (Control-M / Autosys / UC4).
- Exposure to cloud migration or cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps-focused environments.
