About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT professional to join our high-impact IT Engineering team at Tools for Humanity. This role is integral to building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our global operations. Unlike traditional support roles, this position offers the opportunity to design and implement innovative enterprise tools and services that enhance operational efficiency and security. Your responsibilities will encompass Infrastructure as Code, API integration management, and internal tool development, with a focus on automating processes to reduce manual effort and operational overhead. You will play a key role in deploying, securing, and optimizing our systems, ensuring they are resilient, scalable, and aligned with our company’s mission to empower users worldwide.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in IT and systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in governing identity environments through Infrastructure as Code frameworks, preferably Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience in building and deploying API integrations using tools such as Workato.
  • Proven ability to develop and deploy internal tools tailored to organizational needs, leveraging platforms like Re Tool.
  • Experience with enterprise-level large language model (LLM) management tools is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively within a distributed team and supporting colleagues across technical backgrounds.
  • A passion for coaching, mentoring, and sharing knowledge with team members.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions to automate and streamline system provisioning and management.
  • Implement and manage API integrations to connect various internal and external systems, enhancing automation and data flow.
  • Build and optimize internal tools that improve operational efficiency and user experience across the organization.
  • Deploy, monitor, and secure enterprise systems, ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Develop automation scripts and workflows to reduce manual interventions and operational overhead.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their technical needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead initiatives to improve security posture, including implementing best practices and compliance standards.
  • Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative improvements.
