We are partnered with a leading North American renewable energy owner-operator with a multi-gigawatt portfolio of contracted solar, wind, and energy storage assets, who is looking to hire either a Senior Analyst or Manager of Investmentsto support its continued growth.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this role will join a high-performing investment team focused on project M&A, capital recycling, and greenfield development across North America, alongside corporate-level strategic forecasting.

The position offers strong exposure to senior leadership and investment committees, with responsibility spanning transaction underwriting, corporate modeling, and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate & Strategy

  • Lead corporate financial modeling for strategic initiatives and senior leadership deliverables
  • Participate in business forecasting and strategic decision-making
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to develop and validate model assumptions

Investments & Transactions

  • Support development investment decisions, M&A, and capital recycling transactions
  • Conduct due diligence, assess investment merits and risks, and analyze scenario outcomes
  • Build detailed transaction, valuation, and financing models (DCF, precedent analysis)
  • Prepare and present investment materials to senior management and investment committees

Portfolio & Market Analysis

  • Review portfolio assets and support value-enhancement initiatives
  • Assist with deal structuring, industry research, and evaluation of new market opportunities
  • Support corporate-level strategic initiatives and special projects as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative field
  • 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity, investment banking, project finance, transaction services, or valuations
  • Strong financial modeling expertise in Excel, including valuation and financing structures
  • Experience conducting due diligence and preparing investment materials for senior stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, performance-driven environment
