Based on the benefits chosen***No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-USTS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED***Geologics has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer — Integration and Test with an active TS/SCI Clearance to support one of our premier programs in the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business units. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards to developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use. The work is on-site in Aurora, CO.REQUIRED Active TS/SCI Clearance is required on day one.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
- Experience with systems integration and test for a software product, in an Agile, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
- Experience with hands-on Integration and Test engineering
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging a software-based system or product
- Experience with Linux Red Hat, Python, or Perl
SKILLS PREFERRED
- Experience working within a CI/CD environment
- Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment.
- Development experience in project domain (e.g., mission management ground systems, space-based ISR platforms)
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience in Test Automation (Cucumber, Gherkin, Zypher)
- Experience with Java, C , Python, Linux operating system, Cloud environments
- Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
What You Will Do
- In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
- Conduct integration and test activities as a member of an Agile Release Train (ART) team
- Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
- Development of automated test scripts and their execution
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Work in an Agile program environment
