About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and improve the technology infrastructure supporting enterprise platforms and critical business applications. This role focuses on delivering stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions while partnering closely with technology and business teams.

What You Will Do

• Implement and support product upgrades across multiple infrastructure environments.
• Analyze business, application, and technical infrastructure requirements.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and document software using Agile methodologies.
• Lead or contribute to high-level technical initiatives across technology and business domains.
• Create specifications for complex infrastructure systems, including design and testing of solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and policies.
• Utilize monitoring tools such as Grafana to support business applications and operational teams.
• Participate in testing and validation of infrastructure requirements.
• Manage daily risk and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to policies and controls.
• Provision builds, configurations, and runtime infrastructure for middleware products.
• Maintain operational standards focused on security, reliability, monitoring, and support.
• Collaborate with peers, partners, and leadership to resolve issues and achieve shared goals.
• Participate in enterprise on-call rotations supporting application and web stability.

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering or Solutions (or equivalent through training, military, or education).
• 3 years of experience with middleware technologies, including Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat.
• 2 years of experience supporting applications in Linux and Windows environments.
• 2 years of strong technical troubleshooting experience.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• 2 years of Root Cause Analysis experience.
• 2 years of experience with Ansible.
• 2 years of Python scripting experience.
• Basic knowledge of Web Server Administration.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with Java and .NET applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Prior technical leadership or team leadership experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level production environments.
• Understanding of compliance and risk management requirements.
• Experience supporting risk-related initiatives.
• Experience with WebSphere, WebSphere Liberty, WebLogic.
• Experience with Incident Management tools (ServiceNow preferred).
• Experience monitoring alerts, resolving batch failures, and working ServiceNow queues.
• Understanding of infrastructure technologies: Linux, Windows, middleware, databases.
• Ability to manage outage calls, triage issues, and drive resolution.
• Experience with Ansible and uDeploy.
• Familiarity with job failure types and troubleshooting methods.
• Ability to execute shell commands and basic Linux administration.
• Basic networking knowledge, including load balancers (F5).
• Ability to troubleshoot HTTP errors and Java application server issues.
