Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift 30HR MF

Pay: $30.00/hour

Shift: Monday — Friday

Hours: 4:00 PM — 12:30 AM

Location: Joliet, IL

Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Maintain and repair forklifts, conveyors, dock doors, and related equipment
• Complete inspections, installations, and equipment repairs
• Perform welding and metal fabrication as needed
• Track work orders and maintenance activities
• Follow safety procedures and support workplace organization standards

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Experience working on:

• Forklifts

• Conveyors

• Dock equipment

• Facility systems

• Welding and fabrication experience required

• Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical work

• Basic computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based systems

• LEAN / 5S experience preferred
