Imports Operations Lead (A4)
Position Summary:
Import Operations Team lead– is responsible to multi-task and direct multiple employees. Communicate effectively with customs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process inbound and outbound freight shipments for U.S. Customs clearance.
- Screen and review shipments to ensure compliance with OFAC and all applicable government regulations.
- Accurately enter and maintain data for all OFAC-related shipments.
- Communicate shipment status updates and delays with DHL origin and destination stations.
- Review invoices, shipping documents, and shipment contents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with the ITAC team to support compliance efforts and resolve shipment issues.
- Conduct research and gather necessary information to facilitate timely shipment clearance.
- Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
· Strong understanding of operations and customs processes.

Skills:
- Proficient in computer operations and data entry systems.
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Flexibility to work PM shifts and adapt to operational requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in various weather conditions.
