About The Role We are seeking a talented Human Resources Coordinator to join our dedicated Human Resources team. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a collaborative mindset, supporting the administrative functions of Talent Acquisition and providing general assistance to the HR department. The Human Resources Coordinator will partner closely with hiring managers across the organization, managing the pre-employment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding. The ideal candidate will reside in the Southern California region, preferably near Orange County, or be able to travel to that area at least once per year.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or more than one year of equivalent experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- HR certification is a plus
- Minimum of 1+ years of professional experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or related fields
- Previous experience in recruiting or talent acquisition is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High level of confidentiality and ethical judgment
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR standards
- Willingness to support team initiatives and provide backup support as needed
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to create, manage, and maintain requisitions in the ATS, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals
- Post open positions on internal and external job boards to attract qualified candidates committed to healthcare impact
- Review and screen resumes meticulously to identify candidates who meet role requirements and align with company values
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls to assess qualifications, interest, and cultural fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates, ensuring a smooth process
- Provide timely updates and feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
- Initiate and monitor pre-employment background checks, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements
- Support onboarding logistics, including start date coordination and new hire orientation arrangements
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS to support reporting and continuous process improvement
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws, company policies, and ethical standards
- Assist with additional HR and Talent Acquisition initiatives as assigned, contributing to team goals and organizational success
