  • The HR Systems and People Analytics Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, optimization, and administration of the organization’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and People Analytics platforms.
  • This role ensures that HR technology solutions effectively support organizational objectives through reliable system performance, strong data governance, and advanced analytics capabilities.
  • The Manager partners closely with HR leadership, Information Technology, Payroll, and other stakeholders to deliver actionable workforce insights, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of HR systems and platforms in alignment with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and best practices; experience with Infor GHR is preferred.
  • Oversees HR systems architecture, upgrades, enhancements, testing, and release management to ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance.
  • Manages integrations between HR systems and ancillary systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, learning, performance management) by leading a cross-functional System Integration Team that includes IT, Payroll, and other business stakeholders to ensure accurate data flow and system alignment.
  • Develops and manages advanced People Analytics capabilities, including workforce dashboards, metrics, trend analyses, and predictive insights using Tableau and Infor Birst or comparable tools.
  • Collaborates with HR leadership and business partners to deliver strategic workforce insights, data storytelling, and analytical support for operational and executive decision-making.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for HR reporting, analytics, and HR data governance standards.
  • Ensures data integrity, system security, user access controls, and audit readiness across all HR platforms.
  • Establishes and maintains data governance policies, standardized data entry procedures, validation rules, and quality controls to promote accuracy and consistency.
  • Implements automated workflows, dropdown selections, and required-field controls to minimize incomplete or inaccurate data entry.
  • Conducts regular system and data audits to identify anomalies, duplicates, and outdated records; supports audits with system-generated exception reports and data quality dashboards.
  • Evaluates third-party tools, system enhancements, and emerging technologies to improve HR systems functionality and analytics maturity.
  • Leads, mentors, and develops a team of HR systems analysts and People Analytics professionals; sets performance expectations and supports professional growth.
  • Provides training and ongoing support to HR staff, HR systems teams, and business users on system functionality, reporting tools, and data entry protocols to promote accountability and reduce errors.
  • Champions a culture of continuous improvement and data stewardship across the HR function, reinforcing the importance of accurate data and effective system usage.
  • Performs all other related job duties as assigned.

Required Qualification: Experience

  • Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience, including 3 or more years of management or senior-level experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MS in HR Technology, Analytics, or a related discipline) is preferred.
  • Continued professional development in HR technology, analytics, or project management is desirable.

Credentials

  • HRIS platform certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with People Analytics and reporting tools is desirable.
  • Professional HR, project management, or agile certifications are a plus.
