About The Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team remotely, supporting our global HR operations and employee success initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a broad spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, possesses a proactive problem-solving mindset, and is eager to contribute to building a people-first culture from the ground up. You will work closely with the Head of HR and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless HR processes, foster employee satisfaction, and uphold compliance standards across our organization.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of US labor law and regulatory frameworks (strong advantage)
  • Experience with HRIS systems and ATS management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguity
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas, or surrounding areas (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interview schedules, manage candidate communications, and update applicant tracking systems to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Provide employees with essential employment documents, including offer letters, amendments, and employment verifications
  • Maintain organized digital records of employee files and HR documentation
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of monthly payroll data with finance teams
  • Support administration of employee benefits, leave management, and reimbursement processes
  • Keep HRIS systems and internal records updated with accurate employee data
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries, providing timely and effective support
  • Assist in conducting employee engagement surveys and internal feedback mechanisms
  • Support performance management processes and review cycle coordination
  • Contribute to updating employee handbooks, onboarding materials, and HR policies
