About The Role We are seeking an experienced HR Data Analyst to join ORIONYX ENGINEERING LTD. This remote position is exclusively available to candidates residing within the United States. As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analyzing and interpreting HR data to support strategic decision-making, optimize HR processes, and improve employee engagement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with HR professionals and organizational leadership to provide data-driven insights that enhance overall organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in data analysis tools, and excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role within an HR department, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and present insights clearly.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining effective collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and maintain HR data from various sources including HRIS, payroll systems, and performance management tools, ensuring data integrity through regular audits.
  • Analyze HR metrics such as recruitment, retention, employee performance, and engagement levels to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Create comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards for HR leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations for organizational improvements.
  • Conduct workforce planning analyses to support staffing strategies and organizational development initiatives.
  • Monitor and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee development programs.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to support initiatives related to diversity, inclusion, employee engagement, and training programs.
  • Provide analytical support for compensation and benefits analysis to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to create intuitive dashboards that facilitate decision-making and communicate complex data insights effectively.
  • Assist in preparing compliance reports related to labor laws, EEO regulations, and other legal HR requirements, staying updated on relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR data collection, management, and reporting processes, advocating for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Train and support HR team members in data analysis tools and methodologies, acting as a resource for leveraging data in HR functions.
