  1. About the Opportunity:

The Head of Strategic Finance will lead the development and execution of the long-term financial strategy and go-to-market approach. This role is critical in aligning financial targets with operational realities, driving growth, and ensuring capital efficiency. The position involves shaping strategic vision, supporting high-impact decisions, and optimizing business economics to enable the organization’s financial and growth objectives.

  1. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement 3-5 year financial strategies aligned with corporate goals

• Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making

• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, and variance analysis

• Establish and govern key financial and operational performance metrics

• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve business economics and key financial metrics

• Prepare Board-level financial reports and investor narratives

• Design and manage financial and operational processes for growth optimization

• Oversee sales forecasting methodology and pipeline management

• Partner with People, Legal, and other teams to create effective policies and processes

• Collaborate with Growth, Customer Success, Marketing, and IT to advance GTM technology and automation

  1. Requirements:

• 10 years in finance roles including investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or operating finance at tech or healthcare startups

• 5 years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams

• Expertise in data analysis, forecasting, and providing strategic financial insights

• Proficient with data analysis and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Metabase, Google Sheets, Excel)

• Proven success managing complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish

• Strategic advisor mindset with a hands-on approach

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills

• Ability to adapt and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Experience in annual GTM planning and sales compensation management

  1. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $250,000 – $300,000 annually

• Compensation includes equity and benefits, with some flexibility between equity and cash components
