BettingJobs is working with an iGaming operator. They are looking for a Head of Paid Media to join their team based in New York.Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the global paid media strategy across key acquisition channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, and Affiliate support.
  • Manage and optimize large-scale acquisition budgets to drive profitable player growth across multiple regulated markets.
  • Lead performance across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and DSPs, ensuring strong ROAS and CPA targets are achieved.
  • Develop and execute market entry and scaling strategies for new geographies.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing paid media team.
  • Work closely with the Data & BI teams to develop advanced attribution models and performance reporting frameworks.
  • Partner with CRM and Lifecycle teams to optimize player value, retention, and LTV-based acquisition strategies.
  • Drive creative testing frameworks with design and content teams to continuously improve conversion rates.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, ad networks, and key platform partners.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, privacy changes, and platform updates affecting performance marketing in regulated sectors.

Requirements:

  • 7 years experience in performance marketing / paid media, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience within iGaming, sports betting, or online gaming preferred.
  • Proven track record managing multi-million dollar paid media budgets with measurable ROI.
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, programmatic platforms, and mobile acquisition channels.
  • Strong understanding of attribution modelling, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
  • Experience scaling campaigns across multiple international markets.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools such as GA4, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with app marketing and MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch).
  • Knowledge of compliance and advertising regulations in key regulated gambling markets.
  • Experience working with LTV-driven bidding strategies and predictive modelling.
