Head of Finance

About the Role

A private equity-backed company is seeking a Head of Finance to lead financial operations, capital strategy, and M&A activities in a high-growth environment. This role will partner closely with the CEO and investors to drive performance and support long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance functions including FP&A, accounting, treasury, tax, and reporting
• Execute capital strategy and manage lender relationships
• Support M&A activities (evaluation, due diligence, integration)
• Build scalable financial processes and systems
• Partner with leadership on strategy and business performance
• Prepare for exit, including investor reporting and financial readiness
• Present insights to senior stakeholders and board members
• Build and lead a high-performing finance team

Qualifications

• 15 years of finance leadership experience
• Experience in private equity-backed environments (CFO-level exposure preferred)
• Strong background in capital markets, debt financing, and M&A
• Track record supporting exit events
• Experience managing complex financial structures
• CPA or MBA required
• Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation: $300,000 — $500,000 base bonus potential equity
