The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing a comprehensive design system and executing a wide array of assets across multiple media formats. This includes large-format digital backplates, digital screens within the exhibit space, print materials, and digital assets for digital engagement. The position requires a candidate with extensive branding experience, creative flair, and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines. The contract is expected to last until February 2027, with a possibility of extension based on project needs.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field. A minimum of four years of professional graphic design experience within a corporate or agency environment is essential. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is required, with motion and video capabilities considered an advantage. A compelling portfolio showcasing impactful and imaginative design work across print and digital formats is mandatory. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and imagery, along with excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. Strong time management skills and meticulous attention to detail are necessary to succeed in this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of the event’s visual identity, including the logo, design guidelines, and standards. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the candidate will understand strategic goals, target audiences, and project requirements to create cohesive and engaging visual assets. This includes designing branded charts, graphs, tables, icons, illustrations, and infographics that effectively communicate key information. The role involves producing consistent graphics across digital platforms and print materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards and project specifications. The designer will leverage both technical expertise and aesthetic sensibility to develop layouts and visual assets that are compelling and on-brand. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, the candidate must ensure timely delivery and maintain a high standard of quality. Active participation in creative brainstorming sessions and continuous learning of emerging design trends are also expected. The role requires effective communication with various internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution and incorporate feedback constructively.
