Position Overview


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead a high-volume, full-service DoubleTree by Hilton property located in the UCF/Orlando market.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team engagement . The ideal candidate is a strong operator who understands how to balance revenue growth, cost control, and service delivery while building a high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities


Financial Performance & Revenue Growth

  • Drive RevPAR index, ADR, and occupancy performance
  • Own property-level P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Monitor and control labor costs, expenses, and flow-through
  • Partner with Sales & Revenue teams to maximize group and transient business

Operations & Guest Experience

  • Ensure consistent execution of Hilton brand standards
  • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores (SALT) and service delivery
  • Oversee daily hotel operations including Rooms, F&B, and Engineering
  • Lead service recovery efforts and elevate the overall guest experience

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, coach, and develop department leaders
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and performance
  • Lead by example with strong on-the-floor visibility
  • Drive hiring, retention, and succession planning efforts

Sales & Community Presence

  • Actively engage with key clients, university partners, and local businesses
  • Support group sales strategy and banquet/event execution
  • Represent the hotel within the local market and community

Asset Management & Compliance

  • Partner with ownership on CapEx planning and asset preservation
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strong operational discipline across all departments

Qualifications


  • 5 years of General Manager or Hotel Manager experience in a full-service property
  • Hilton experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to drive financial performance and guest satisfaction metrics
  • Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, operational approach
  • Experience managing F&B and banquet operations
  • Excellent communication and team development skills
