Our mission is to deliver financial assistance efficiently and reliably to vulnerable populations, including families affected by disasters, recipients of government benefits, and survivors of domestic violence. Last year alone, our platform reached one in every 300 households in the United States, exemplifying our commitment to making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

As a small, passionate team of Givetopians, we prioritize morality, vocation, and fulfillment in our work. Our culture fosters a supportive environment where innovation and compassion go hand-in-hand. We believe that the brightest minds should dedicate their talents to creating meaningful change, and we have a lot of fun doing it. Our dedication to building technology that serves underserved communities is at the core of everything we do.

About The Role We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our team and help develop and enhance the user interfaces that power GiveCard. This role involves working on both the administrative tools used by organizations distributing funds and the web applications accessed by cardholders. As a hands-on individual contributor, you will have the opportunity to directly impact real users by shipping meaningful features, iterating based on feedback, and ensuring accessibility and usability standards are met.

The ideal candidate is someone with a few years of professional frontend experience who is eager to deliver high-quality products quickly and learn continuously. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create accessible, reliable, and engaging user experiences. Our environment values rapid iteration, learning from real-world usage, and deploying updates early and often. Candidates who care deeply about usability, accessibility, and building technology that benefits often overlooked communities will find this role especially fulfilling.

This position is remote, offering flexibility to work from anywhere, with the option to visit our offices in New York and San Francisco as preferred.
