Frontend Developer

The Role

• Provide subject matter expertise for front-end design and development tasks.
• Support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
• Perform engineering tasks including creating technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes.
• Plan and implement modifications to Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and optimize UI elements.
• Optimize system navigation practices and elements to facilitate operator ease of use.
• Engage in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.

What You’ll Need

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or Master’s degree substituting for 2 years of experience.
• 7 years of experience in the functional area, with 7 years in object-oriented and scripted languages.
• 3 years of recent experience in front-end web design and development.
• Experience with bug tracking software (Jira) and version control (GitLab).
• Proficiency with at least five of the following: Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Java, Node.
