About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the development and maintenance of our core user interface component library that powers the Lucid Website. Your expertise will be crucial in architecting scalable, reusable components across multiple React applications, supporting our transition from legacy systems to modern frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including content, design, and backend developers to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your full stack capabilities and modern development practices to shape the future of our digital products.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of full stack development experience with a strong focus on React ecosystem
  • Proven experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems
  • Deep understanding of React patterns, hooks, context API, and performance optimization techniques
  • Experience with Next.js, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including CloudFront, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab CI
  • Experience with package management, npm publishing, and monorepo architectures
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Familiarity with Contentful CMS and content-driven component development
  • Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs
  • Proficiency with Storybook for component documentation and interactive playgrounds
  • Experience with modern full stack technologies including React + Next.js SSR, AWS cloud services, and content management integrations
  • Ability to utilize latest GenAI tools such as Copilot, chat agents, and IDE assistants to enhance productivity

Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain a comprehensive React UI component library that supports marketing pages, authenticated portals, and checkout flows
  • Design and implement scalable component APIs compatible with Gatsby, Astro, and Next.js frameworks
  • Establish and enforce design patterns, coding standards, and best practices for component development
  • Create detailed documentation and usage guidelines to facilitate developer adoption
  • Build and maintain Storybook documentation with interactive component playgrounds for easy preview and testing
  • Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, and visual regression tests to ensure component quality
  • Manage semantic versioning and release processes for component updates
  • Develop developer tools and CLI utilities to streamline component usage and adoption across teams
  • Design and implement content-driven components that seamlessly integrate with Contentful CMS
  • Build flexible, dynamic component architectures to support various content types and use cases
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to create component schemas and content modeling strategies
  • Support ongoing migration efforts from legacy systems to modern frameworks, ensuring smooth transition and minimal disruption
