Freelance Insights Strategist/ Market Researcher
We’re hiring freelance Insight Strategists to help our customers unlock the full value of Corvane through rigorous, high-quality research and insight generation. This is a client-facing role for someone who is deeply grounded in market research and can translate complex data into a clear business direction.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end research engagements — from scoping to execution to insight delivery
- Apply a range of methodologies across brand, product, consumer, and UX research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Design and conduct in-depth interviews, concept tests, and structured studies
- Analyze large volumes of qualitative and quantitative data, distill key themes, and deliver sharp, decision-ready insights
- Build insight reports, decks, and frameworks that directly inform product, marketing, and strategy decisions
- Partner closely with product, research, and insights leaders to connect findings to business impact
- Support onboarding and guide customers on best practices to get high-quality outputs from the platform
- Identify opportunities to deepen research programs and expand usage across teams
- Collaborate in-person when needed, either at our NYC office or client locations
Who You Are
- 2–5+ years of experience in market research, insights, or strategy roles (agency or in-house)
- Strong foundation in both qualitative (IDIs, usability testing, ethnography) and quantitative (survey design, analysis) research
- NYC Based
- Methodology-agnostic — you choose the right approach based on the problem, not preference
- Excellent at synthesizing messy data into clear narratives and recommendations
- Confident presenting findings to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Detail-oriented with high standards for research quality and rigor
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
