Lone Star Bakery Inc is a family owned business and is currently looking for a Material Handler 600am 430pm shiftto support our mission in providing superior customer service as we continue our History in the Baking TheMaterial Handlerperforms a variety of warehouse functions in support of Production as instructed by the supervisor Follows Good Manufacturing Practices GMP and complies with OSHA standards Job Duties &Responsibilities Operates forklifts pallet jacks scissor lifts and other warehousing equipmentLoads unloads inspects and transfers goods within the Companys production area freezers coolers dry storage and docking areas Ability to work in a team environment; wit the common goal of supporting the CompanyVerifies items picked for shipping to sales orders and items received to bill of lading purchase orders and other documentationOperates all equipment in a safe and professional mannerCompletes internal paperwork accurately and legiblyFollows warehousing protocol and procedures such as FIFOAbility to cycle count products to ensure the accountability is always maintainedMaintains a clean work area that is free and clear of foreign objects and materialsNotifies supervisor of any warehousing issues or equipment malfunctionsComplies with GMP and Company standardsAbility to travel between both plants and in different areas of the temperature controlled warehouseTrains employees and demonstrates best practices when requiredPerforms other duties as requiredJob Requirements Education & Certifications Ability to be forklift certifiedAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to read and write English with basic math skillsKnowledge of barcoding systemAbility to be on feet all day and perform walking stooping and bending functions as requiredAbility to push and pull pallets and other packaging materialsAbility to understand and use barcoding scanners and devicesEnvironmental Conditions Extreme temperature variationsWet surfacesNoiseMoving mechanical partsIndustrial equipmentSalary begins at 1600 Benefits Health Dental and Vison insuranceLife Insurance401k Company MatchingPaid time offEmployee Referral ProgramAttendance Incentive ProgramLone Star Bakery Inc is located in China Grove TX near 410 and Rigsby
