About The Role As a Mobile Application Developer at LifeMD, you will be an integral part of a small, dynamic development team responsible for building and enhancing our flagship Telehealth platform. This platform connects patients with experienced healthcare providers, ensuring timely and efficient medical consultations. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of a high-quality, cross-platform mobile application. Your role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for delivering impactful healthcare technology. You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively, developing new features, supporting existing functionalities, and ensuring smooth deployment and performance of the app. This position offers a unique chance to influence the future of telehealth technology while expanding your skills across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience developing complex mobile applications for iOS or Android using Flutter
• Proficiency in working with remote data via REST or gRPC, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience working with Firebase or other NoSQL databases
• Successfully shipped at least one app to the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
• Experience utilizing cloud services such as databases, object storage, message queues, API gateways, functions, and VPCs from providers like GCP or AWS
• Demonstrated pride in craftsmanship, a continuous growth mindset, and a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Designing and architecting the core components of a modern, cross-platform mobile application
• Writing clean, efficient code along with comprehensive unit, integration, functional, and performance tests to ensure reliability
• Assisting with middleware and backend service integration where applicable
• Preparing and validating release builds, documenting deployment procedures, and ensuring smooth rollout
• Maintaining and supporting app releases post-deployment, including troubleshooting and updates
• Providing strategic input and collaborating on setting the technical direction of the platform
• Participating in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge sharing activities to promote best practices
