Position: Financial Analyst

Hourly rate: $35-$40 per hour based on experience

Part Time | 10-15 hours a week

Remote | Must be based in USA

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Financial Analyst looking to expand to full time. In this role, you will build forecasts, analyze performance, and deliver clear financial guidance directly to our clients. You will be able to adpat to different types of systems/software and apply to different industries.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain financial forecasts including sales tracking, expense budgets, and variance analysis across multiple small business clients
• Develop custom reports tailored to how each client operates – not just updating existing templates
• Pull and consolidate data from multiple systems/software platforms to create meaning financial insights
• Prepare monthly financial udpates with financial summaries
• Support clients with ongoing financial understanding including sales target planning, cash flow planning, and expense management
• Collaborate with bookkeeping team to ensure all reporting is current and accurate
• Be a trusted resource for our clients and their questions to help them understand their financial information.

What we’re looking for:

• 2-4 years of proven experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or financial analysis
• Strong Excel/Google sheet skills – you will be building models and reporting from scratch, not just maintaining them
• Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
• Experience with Quickbooks Online is preferred
• Ability to write clear financial summaries
• Detail orientated with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts
