Position Overview
The Financial Analyst supports business performance by providing financial insights, planning, and analysis across programs and operations. This role partners with cross-functional teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with financial goals. The position plays a key role in improving visibility into costs, profitability, and operational efficiency while supporting data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3 years of financial analysis or FP&A experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience with variance analysis, cost tracking, and profitability analysis
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- CPA, CFA, or MBA (preferred, not required)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Analyze financial performance, including revenue, costs, and margins
- Prepare variance analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Partner with program and operations teams to track financial performance and cost drivers
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions
- Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities
- Assist with month-end and quarter-end financial reporting
- Support cost control initiatives, including labor, materials, and overhead analysis
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting tools
