Field Services Technician
Job Description
ECS is seeking a Field Services Technician to work in our Gulfport, MS office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
Candidate must experience working with the Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USV) (Surface andUnderwater Crafts ) as a maintenance technician. This includes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance.
Required Skills
- Performs equipment preparation, inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance in support of Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) operations.
- Conducts cable fabrication, battery handling and servicing, inventory management, and logistics support to ensure operational availability of USV platforms and spares.
- Executes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance for USVs to support safe, reliable, and sustained operations.
- Supports payload integration, system checkout, and mission readiness verification prior to deployment and during operations.
- Maintains technical documentation, maintenance records, and configuration tracking for USV platforms and payload systems.
- Provides operational support for land-based, pier-side, and vessel-based USV operations, including deployment and recovery activities.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Avionics and maintenance of USVs ( Uncrewed Surface Vehicles) and technical documentation.
