Key Responsibilities:
- Perform reception duties, handling face-to-face and telephone enquiries from patients, visitors and the public.
- Perform shift duties including weekends, public holidays, and during extreme weather conditions (such as Red/Black Rainstorm Signals and Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above) on a duty rotation basis.
- Provide support of general office administration and day-to-day operation to the team.
- Consolidate corporate/cluster returns on administrative matters.
- Assist in data collection, data entry, basic analysis, and report preparation.
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of documents for hospital operations.
- Assist in departmental procurement, stock control and inventory management.
- Assist in contract management, coordination, and liaison with service users, hospital teams and contractors.
- Coordinate meetings, programs and activities, including meeting logistics and minute-taking.
- Handle feedback and public enquiries and draft related correspondence.
- Perform telephone operator duties for the hospital when required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Entry Requirements :
- University Graduates with experience; OR
- F.5 / S.5 with
(a) HKCEE 5 passes including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language; OR
(b) 5 subjects in HKDSE attaining the level specified below:
(i) Level 2 in English Language & Chinese Language; AND
(ii) Level 2 in New Senior Secondary Subjects / “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects under this category) / Grade E in Other Language subjects.
AND diploma in a specialized function AND relevant experience
Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
- Knowledge of hospital operations and experience in public healthcare, customer service or administrative support.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a patient, caring and service-oriented attitude, as well as the ability to handle emergency and unexpected situations effectively.
- Mature, responsible and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, manage stress and handle multi-tasking under pressure.
- Pleasant personality, meticulous and attentive to details with good organization skills.
- Proficiency in standard office software and applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, electronic filing systems and general Internet/e-mail tools.

Serving staff who have completed F.5/ S.5 with HKCEE/ HKDSE 5 passes/ attaining Level 2/Grade E including Eng (Syl. B) & Chin/ Diploma AND 3 years’ relevant experiences in HA; OR F.5/ S.5 with 5 years’ relevant experiences in HA may also be considered.
