Environmental Scientist | Remote

Position: Conservation Scientist

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $65–$115/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design occupation-specific questions and scenarios based on real-world conservation science workflows.
• Apply professional conservation expertise to support AI research and evaluation initiatives.
• Translate ecological principles, land management practices, and environmental assessment methods into clear, structured formats for AI training.
• Contribute to improving AI system accuracy in conservation-related reasoning and decision-making tasks.
• Work independently and asynchronously while meeting project deliverables and quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong full-time professional experience as a Conservation Scientist.
• Strong ability to communicate scientific reasoning and domain knowledge in written form.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
