Environmental Representative

Job Title: Environmental RepresentativeLocation: Fourchon, LAPosition Overview: The Environmental Representatives responsibilities will include inspecting and maintaining the facility’s handling, storage, and disposal of waste; including managing the air, water, and dredge permits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities will also include the training, data collection, on-site inspections and coordination of the facility’s emergency response programs.Key Responsibilities:

• Waste collection, storage, and transport (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, industrial solid, special waste, tires, sewage/biosolids).
• Assists facility and corporate HSE personnel in carrying out various environmental duties.

Qualifications:

• Six (6) months of experience in performing environmental field functions within an industrial setting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Capable of monitoring/controlling environmental procedures on-site.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.), Oracle experience a plus.
