About the Opportunity
The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for engaging prospective members, educating them about the program’s free support services, and enrolling eligible individuals. This role serves as the initial point of contact, building trust and understanding member needs to facilitate successful enrollment and ongoing support. The position requires managing a high volume of outbound calls to inform and enroll members while documenting preferences to ensure effective care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Complete virtual onboarding and training to learn systems, tools, and procedures
- Make 80 to 100 outbound calls daily to prospective members
- Follow care team policies, escalation protocols, communication standards, and documentation requirements
- Inform eligible members about program benefits and how the organization supports their cancer care journey
- Build trusting relationships with members through active listening and empathy
- Obtain consent, conduct enrollment surveys, and escalate urgent member needs
- Participate in coaching sessions and apply feedback to meet quality and productivity goals
Requirements
- Experience in sales roles or recent college graduate with 1 years in a fast-paced environment
- Strong listening, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Comfort using Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, and learning new technologies
- Adaptability to rapid changes common in start-up environments
- Access to a private, quiet, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet
- Must be located within the lower 48 United States due to contractual requirements
Compensation
- Pay rate: $24.03 per hour
- Bonus potential up to $2,500 per quarter (up to $10,000 annually)
