TITLE: Engineering Manager / Technical Delivery Manager

LOCATION: Hybrid — Portland, Oregon

PAY: Target pay for this role is $150,000 – $185,000 annually, depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing As an Engineering Manager / Technical Delivery Manager, you’ll lead cross-functional software engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact technology solutions that power hospitality and resort operations. You will drive agile execution, provide technical oversight, and mentor engineers while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities Include

• Leading day-to-day operations of engineering teams to ensure delivery against priorities and timelines.
• Partnering with product and design leaders on scope, roadmap, and feature prioritization.
• Driving execution of sprints, backlogs, and releases using agile best practices.
• Providing architectural input and contributing to PHP development efforts.
• Championing best practices for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Coaching and mentoring engineers, building a culture of accountability and collaboration.
• Exploring innovative ways to integrate Generative AI to boost development productivity.

Who We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in leadership, delivery, or engineering management.
• Hands-on PHP development experience building and maintaining production-grade applications.
• Proven success leading agile teams and delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of full-stack development, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based architectures (AWS preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Have

• Experience in hospitality, eCommerce, or SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Generative AI in software development.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
