Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Engineer located in Sidney, OH. The Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing aluminum casting processes for various industries. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing production, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and deadlines. The Engineer will also troubleshoot issues, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Engineering skills related to aluminum casting processes, including design, development, and optimization
- Experience in quality control and assurance in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Project management and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Solid Works and/or flow simulation experience helpful
- Design or quoting helpful
- Ability to work on-site in Sidney, OH
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, defense, or performance automotive aftermarket industries is a plus
