Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Embedded System Engineer based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. The engineer will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of embedded systems for smart oral wearable devices. Responsibilities include working on firmware development, integrating IoT technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and performance. Some remote work flexibility is available.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Embedded Software development for hardware systems
- Proficiency in Electrical Engineering and working with Electronic systems
- Experience with Internet of Things (IoT) applications and connectivity
- Strong foundation in Software Development, with knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and test embedded systems and firmware
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in product development for wearable technology is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
